Success in Chicago with the EFC and AMM Youth Coaching Workshop

On Sunday, December 6, 2009 Coaches and Parents gathered in Chicago to learn about working with today’s youth to increase activity and combat obesity! Alive with MissionMe! (AMM) is a comprehensive, in-school and after-school multisport program with the defined objectives of helping to combat obesity and to put fun back into physical activity. The program includes printed lesson plans and visual media for educators and program directors at organizations such as the Jewish Community Centers, Boys and Girls Clubs, YMCA’s,Health and Fitness Clubs and athletic camps. The AMM program also includes parental guides and media for home use as well.

Alive with MissionMe! is the first program of its kind to be recognized by USA Triathlon as a youth educational resource for USA Triathlon. Alive with MissionMe! research and findings offer a “solution” to a healthy lifestyle using multisport activities.
